What do you visit?

On this tour we will visit one of the four papal basilicas of Rome, the second largest after st. Peter’s. Here is the place where, according to tradition, Timothy disciple of the saint, buried the remains of Master St. Paul beheaded in a nearby place. First we will enter and admire the beautiful porch surrounded by imposing columns, once inside the basilica, we will walk through the central nave looking at the mosaics that portray all the pontiffs from Peter to Pope Francis, we will then reach the background of the church where the sarcophagus of St. Paul is located and finally we will see the apse where the wonderful triumphal arch is decorated with amazing mosaics that will leave you in amazement.

  • Meeting, illustration of the facade and the porch of the church (15 minutes).
  • Visit of the inner part of the church (45 minutes).
