What do you visit?

We will visit the oldest ghetto in the world, it was here that the Jews were segregated by order of the Pope in the sixteenth century and it was here that in 1943 they captured more than 1000 Hebrews to be deported to the concentration camps. Today the ghetto is a popular neighborhood where you can enjoy excellent kosher food and a cheerful atmosphere.

We will visit Tiberina Island, the only island on the Tiver River. Its only access from the urban part are two wonderful Roman bridges.

We will walk through the alleys of the Trastevere district where we will finish our visit in the Paleo-Christian Church of Santa Maria in Trastevere famous for its beautiful mosaics.

For security reasons, all visitors have to be checked, therefore when entering the attractions security checks will be carried out with the metal detector. To facilitate controls, all belongings must be placed inside backpacks (including mobile phones). It is forbidden to introduce knives, weapons, glass or metal bottles and containers, alcoholic beverages and spray cans, camping backpacks, bulky bags and suitcases/carts, large umbrellas or umbrellas, while medium and small shoulder backpacks, bags, wallets can be introduced.
